About the role#
As a Nursing Intern at Saint Luke's East Hospital, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care. This role involves both direct and indirect patient care activities and provides support to your health care team. Please note that interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures and provide care for assigned patients.
- Assist other members of the health care team.
- Complete technical tasks once you have received unit competency validation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a formal nursing school.
- A certified nursing assistant certificate or completion of a fundamentals of care course in nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

- The role is on-site and full-time.
