About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position for Summer 2027. You will apply your pharmaceutical education to real-world practice while preparing for future responsibilities as a pharmacist. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will complete a training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences to gain an overview of pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time.
- Ability to use math to solve problems.
