About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences. This role is designed to prepare you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist while providing an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Follow company standard operating procedures to manage and improve patient health.
- Provide caring service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts.
- Demonstrate empathy and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment.
- Support immunization services by educating patients and documenting information, where allowable by law.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Skill in confirming prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance including nights and weekends.

- Location: North Miami Beach, Florida.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with a rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
