About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist with patient care programs, inventory management, and workflow tasks while ensuring a safe environment for customers. This role requires regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients with empathy and compassion.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Support team culture by promoting caring and enthusiasm.
- Align colleagues around the purpose of health care.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 pounds, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary state licensure.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of or progress toward valid intern or technician licensure.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform tasks such as typing, scanning, and reading small parts.
