Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality care, managing patient health programs, and supporting pharmacy operations.

What you'll do#

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Manage patient care programs to support customer health.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
• Ensure a safe and effective work environment while adhering to regulatory requirements.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
