About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role focuses on delivering patient care, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You will gain professional experience by participating in patient care programs and assisting with daily pharmacy workflows.

- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and caregivers.
- Lead with heart in patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Manage pharmacy tasks including inventory, workflow, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
