About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy workflows, and supporting regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in adopting and managing patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Lead with heart in patient care programs to deliver better outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate a culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Perform tasks including patient safety, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, stooping, and using precision control for pharmacy tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
