About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to support patient health. You will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail environment. This position involves managing patient care programs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide care to patients, caregivers, and customers with empathy and compassion.
- Support team culture by promoting energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Assist with inventory and workflow management.
- Help patients manage chronic and specialty conditions.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
