About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition your academic training into real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role focuses on deepening your understanding of patient safety, quality assurance, drug utilization review, and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation, including production, pick-up, drop-off, and drive-thru.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations, and solving patient problems.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members while maintaining high self-awareness.
- Support immunization services by completing required licensure and training, educating patients, and documenting health information.
- Perform operational tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and processing medication deliveries.
- Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes as permitted by state regulation.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Ability to perform essential physical functions, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and repetitive hand movements.
- Strong communication skills, mathematical reasoning, and the ability to pivot between tasks quickly.

- Compensation: Paid position ($30.00 - $42.00 per hour).
- Schedule: Requires availability for nights and weekends, with potential travel to multiple store locations within the market.
