Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will gain professional experience by contributing to patient care, pharmacy practice, and regulatory compliance. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling application term.

What you'll do#

• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Deliver exceptional care to patients and customers with empathy and compassion.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, remain upright for extended periods, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Location: Newark, Delaware.
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time.
