About the role#
This is a Summer 2026 internship for PharmD graduates. You will apply your academic learning to real-world pharmacy practice while working toward your pharmacist licensure. You will complete a training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to build your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care during interactions.
- Follow company standard operating procedures at each workstation, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Offer to counsel patients, field medical questions, and clarify prescriptions with prescribers.
- Complete inventory activities such as cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and managing medication deliveries.
- Support patient health services like immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members as your readiness increases.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the program.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks like typing and reaching.
