About the role#
As an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern at Boston Medical Center, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy services. This role is designed to help you fulfill the practice hours required for your pharmacy education and licensure. You will work in an inpatient setting, gaining hands-on experience with medication usage and hospital pharmacy operations.

What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited College of Pharmacy in good standing.
- A valid Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Intern License.
- Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and families.
- The ability to read, interpret, and follow complex verbal and written instructions.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, including basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills for accessing and entering data.
- Fluency in English.
