About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a part in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and providing authentic support to our patients. This role focuses on professional practice, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs and support overall pharmacy workflow.
- Handle inventory and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Provide customer service and assist patients with their health needs.
- Display empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to promote a culture of pride and enthusiasm.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Follow all regulatory requirements and complete necessary training.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Finger dexterity for typing and handling small items.
- Close visual acuity for reading and computer work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
