About the role#
This position offers students hands-on experience in a retail and community pharmacy setting. You will work under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy managers to support daily operations and patient care. This is a part-time, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications.
- Counsel patients on proper administration, potential side effects, and expected responses to their medication.
- Monitor patient health and progress in response to drug therapy.
- Learn and use new pharmacy technology.
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight for pharmacy support personnel.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program or relevant pre-pharmacy curriculum.
- Must meet education requirements for registration through the state board of pharmacy.
- North Dakota applicants must have completed one year of full-time college with pre-pharmacy coursework.
- Minnesota applicants must have completed one year in a professional pharmacy program and maintain annual registration as an Undergraduate Pharmacy Intern.
- South Dakota applicants must be licensed as a pharmacy technician in training if the first professional year has not started, and must obtain Pharmacy Intern registration within four months of hire.

- Compensation: $17.50 to $23.00 per hour.
