About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, gaining experience in store, district, and regional operations. This role focuses on supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate, and prompt prescription fulfillment while developing your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Field medical questions and clarify prescriptions with prescribers under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and support immunization services where permitted.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Complete inventory activities such as cycle counts, returns, and putting away deliveries.
- Provide coaching and support to pharmacy team members to contribute to a high-performing team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention to detail when confirming prescription information and label accuracy.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 20 lbs.

- Location: Ogden, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, including nights and weekends.
- Pay: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
