About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while focusing on patient care and service. This role is part-time and offers the chance to gain professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to every patient.
- Manage and support patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and energy.
- Assist with inventory and workflow management.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

- This position is located in Windsor, Connecticut.
- The role is on-site and part-time.
- This is a paid position.
