About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting the pharmacy team. This position offers an opportunity to gain professional experience in a retail setting while contributing to patient health outcomes.

- Deliver exceptional care to patients and customers.
- Implement and manage patient care programs.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment by adhering to regulatory requirements, quality assurance standards, and workflow management protocols.

- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, and using fine motor skills to handle pharmacy items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
