About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver care to patients. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to each patient and manage patient care programs.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Align others around our purpose to gain support and commitment.
- Handle pharmacy tasks including inventory management, workflow management, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
