Pharmacy Intern - Grad

About the role#

As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your didactic pharmacy education to real-world practice to prepare for a future Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This program is designed to deepen your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations while focusing on patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy professional standards.

What you'll do#

• Operate as part of the pharmacy team by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Support pharmacy operations, including prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and patient service.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where permitted by law.
• Provide patient care by offering counseling, fielding medical questions, and facilitating medication changes under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Demonstrate empathy and contribute to an inclusive team environment while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in coaching and mentoring team members as your experience increases.

What you'll need#

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation; failure to do so will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
