Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a significant role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality health outcomes.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Manage inventory and workflow within the pharmacy.
• Align team members around the pharmacy's purpose to improve health outcomes.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframes.

What you'll need#

• Currently accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
