Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to a team culture centered on empathy and enthusiasm.

What you'll do#

• Manage patient care programs to support customer health.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Support regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
