About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient care and support pharmacy operations. You will contribute to a team environment that focuses on empathy, enthusiasm, and patient safety. This role provides an opportunity to gain professional experience while helping patients manage their health and prescriptions.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care as part of the pharmacy team.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Align team members around the company purpose.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment within the retail pharmacy.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
