About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care while managing pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management. You will contribute to improving health outcomes by managing patient care programs and supporting the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#

- Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Align team members around the purpose of enhancing health outcomes.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and using precision finger dexterity to handle pharmacy items.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
