About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care within a retail setting. You will help manage patient care programs and contribute to a safe, effective pharmacy environment. This is a part-time position with rolling terms.
What you'll do#
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Foster a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Support daily pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow management.
- Align team members with the company purpose of enhancing health quality.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations allow.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Availability for a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Location: Durham, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
