Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care while gaining professional experience in pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.

• Deliver exceptional care to patients as part of the pharmacy team.
• Keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
