Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide exceptional care to patients. This role is focused on ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while supporting patient health through the management of care programs. You will be expected to model company values and foster a collaborative, enthusiastic team culture.

What you'll do#

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Lead initiatives that promote patient care programs and improve health outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment, including inventory and workflow management.
• Align team members with the company purpose and facilitate a positive, energetic team culture.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and using precision finger dexterity to handle pharmacy items.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward, valid intern or technician licensure as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
