About the role#
As a graduate pharmacist intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment. You will support patient care programs and contribute to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy, focusing on patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.

- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and your colleagues.
- Support your pharmacy manager in motivating and developing pharmacy support staff.
- Identify business opportunities and solutions to drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
- Adapt to changes in the community healthcare setting.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the training program.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid pharmacist intern or technician licensure as required by the state Board of Pharmacy, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
