About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), to prepare for a future Pharmacist role. This position provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and care.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Maintain focus and accuracy when confirming prescription information and labels.
- Use math to solve problems, such as calculating dosages and day supplies.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Proficiency in mathematical reasoning.

- Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
