About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy practice workflows, and supporting regulatory requirements. You will contribute to a culture of caring and enthusiasm while helping patients manage their health needs.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to each patient and display empathy and compassion for customers and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Lead with heart in all customer interactions and collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes.
- Support pharmacy operations, including patient safety, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, scanning, and bagging items, as well as reaching and stooping to move inventory.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Schedule: Part-time with rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
