Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to a positive team culture.

What you'll do#

• Lead patient care programs to support customer and patient health.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy workflow management.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.

What you'll need#

• Currently accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the specified timeframe.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

• Schedule: Part-time, including nights and weekends.
