About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care within a retail pharmacy setting. You will support the team in maintaining a safe, effective environment while helping patients manage their health through various programs. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires a commitment to quality service.
What you'll do#
- Support patients through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver positive health outcomes.

- Maintain a safe and efficient pharmacy workspace.
- Assist with inventory management, workflow, and regulatory requirements.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
