Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management, helping to deliver care while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and display empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Lead with Heart by aligning others around the company purpose and collaborating to deliver better outcomes.
• Assist with pharmacy operations including inventory management, regulatory requirements, and customer service.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
