Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting team workflows. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients while advising on prescriptions and managing chronic or specialty conditions.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Align team members around the company purpose.
• Perform operational tasks including inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs and remaining upright for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Location: Sugar Land, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
