About the role#
Saint Luke's is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Emergency Department at Saint Luke's East Hospital. This is a paid, full-time position on a rolling basis. You will work on-site in Lees Summit, Missouri.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for assigned patients.
- Assist other health care team members with their duties.
- Complete technical tasks after receiving unit competency validation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing or Med Surg course.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
