About the role#
The Student Nurse Academy offers nursing students a chance to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting. You will work alongside experienced Registered Nurses to bridge the gap between classroom theory and daily patient care. This program focuses on building clinical skills and professional confidence through a precepted environment.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on patient care experience in a hospital setting.
- Communicate with patients, families, and members of the care team.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient information.
- Perform duties delegated by licensed RN staff.
- Use clinical equipment and support routine patient care activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN nursing program.
- Successful completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations.
- Active BLS certification.
- Good academic standing.
- Submission of an unofficial transcript before the session starts.

- Locations: Evansville, IN; Newburgh, IN; Henderson, KY; Morganfield, KY; Jasper, IN; Princeton, IN.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: Paid position with rates of $16.60, $17.60, or $18.60 per hour based on level.
