About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a significant role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and customers.
- Lead with empathy and compassion while fostering a team culture of energy and enthusiasm.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes and support patient care programs.
- Once state regulations are met, strive to provide patient immunizations.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.
What you'll need#
- Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the specified timeframe.
- Must be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Location & details#
- Location: Edison, New Jersey.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
