Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and contributing to a supportive team culture. This is a part-time, paid position.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients while modeling company values.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality assurance processes.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
• Provide high-quality customer service.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing fine motor skills for pharmacy tasks.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and specified timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
