About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You help provide care to patients, manage pharmacy workflows, and ensure the pharmacy environment remains safe and effective. This role requires regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients while managing patient care programs.
- Model empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Support inventory management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance tasks.
- Foster a team culture centered on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Maintain physical mobility to lift, scan, bag items, and reach for products.
- Perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity for reading and transcribing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
