About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations while preparing you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Follow all company standard operating procedures at each workstation, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer interactions, solving or escalating patient problems as needed.
- Complete Key Learning Experiences and activities to build clinical and technical knowledge.
- Maintain focus and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Support immunization services by educating patients and documenting information, where permitted by law and supported by training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention and focus to perform tasks accurately over time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to travel to other store locations in the market as needed.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
