About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and providing support to patients and the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver the company purpose and values as an active member of the pharmacy team.
- Ensure patient safety and manage pharmacy professional practice.
- Conduct quality assurance and manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist in the adoption of patient care programs.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Maintain regular attendance, including the ability to work nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the status of being in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, visual acuity, and precision control.
