About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and ensuring high-quality service for customers and patients.
What you'll do#
- Deliver the company purpose and values as a member of the pharmacy team.
- Ensure patient safety and manage pharmacy professional practice.
- Conduct quality assurance and manage pharmacy workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist in the adoption of patient care programs.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
