About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations while preparing you for a future Pharmacist position.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy teams to deliver on our brand promise and ensure smooth operations.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all patient interactions.
- Assist with prescription fulfillment, inventory activities, and patient health services like immunizations where permitted.
- Contribute to a high-performing team by embracing a growth mindset and remaining receptive to feedback.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies regarding patient privacy and safety.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into, or active enrollment in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to concentrate on specific tasks over extended periods.
- Friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Proficiency in using math to solve problems related to prescription filling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
