About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, managing patient care programs, and ensuring a safe, effective work environment. You will contribute to the pharmacy team by modeling values of empathy and collaboration while gaining professional experience in a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to support customer health.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Assist with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and remaining upright for extended periods.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, close visual acuity, and physical movement such as stooping and reaching.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
