About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You help patients manage their health by adopting and managing patient care programs. This role is a chance to gain professional experience while contributing to a team that provides care to customers and caregivers.
What you'll do#
- Support a safe and effective pharmacy environment by assisting with workflow management, inventory, and quality assurance.
- Provide care to patients and customers with empathy and compassion.
- Collaborate with your team to foster a culture of enthusiasm and pride.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers to ensure instructions are understood.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or bending to move items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, as is immunization eligibility.

- Location: Lexington, Kentucky.
- This is a part-time, on-site, and paid position.
- The role follows a rolling term.
