Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting health outcomes. This is a part-time, paid position with rolling terms.

• Ensure a safe and effective work environment while maintaining regulatory requirements and quality assurance.
• Manage patient care programs to support customer health and wellness.
• Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.

• Perform operational tasks including inventory management and workflow support.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, required intern or technician licensure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability for a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
