About the role#
This position is for a Pharmacy Intern working in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations. This is a part-time role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment while following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Help customers and patients manage their health through patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture that emphasizes caring and enthusiasm.
- Align your daily work with the goal of improving health outcomes.
- Perform tasks such as inventory management, workflow management, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Remain mobile and upright for extended periods, including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and using finger dexterity for tasks like typing and scanning.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
