About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering patient care programs and maintaining a safe, effective environment. This role involves direct patient interaction, requiring a focus on empathy, compassion, and professional communication.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care programs to help customers and patients manage their health.
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Align team members around the purpose of providing quality health care.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or active process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
