About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while gaining professional experience in pharmacy operations and patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to patients as part of the pharmacy team.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Manage customer service, workflow, and inventory tasks.
- Lead patient care programs to help customers and patients maintain their health.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure (or in the process of obtaining one as required).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a regular schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
