About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This role helps you gain experience in store, district, and regional operations while preparing for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences and activities.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, fielding medical questions, and soliciting patient information under supervision.
- Perform inventory activities such as putting away deliveries, completing cycle counts, and managing returns.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members while maintaining high self-awareness.
- Comply with all company policies, federal, state, and local laws regarding pharmacy operations and patient privacy.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention and focus, with the ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- A customer-service mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

- Schedule: Part-time, with availability required for nights and weekends.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: Paid position with a pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
