About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations. You will gain professional experience while contributing to the quality and accessibility of health care services.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to each patient and model empathy for patients and colleagues.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep patients healthy.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Seek new ways to grow and collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes.
- Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, reaching, lifting up to 20 lbs, and precise finger dexterity for typing and handling small parts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state, or in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.

- Location: Burlington Township, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time.
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
