About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and team collaboration. You will help manage patient care programs and assist with pharmacy practice requirements while gaining professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to patients and customers by displaying empathy and compassion.
- Foster a team culture centered on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Manage patient care programs and work on inventory and workflow tasks.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Strive to provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain a regular schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
