About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice under the direction of a preceptor. This role focuses on developing your professional skills while supporting pharmacy operations. You will participate in a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide hands-on experience with store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including key learning experiences and activities.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly, including prescription fulfillment at various workstations.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all patient and colleague interactions.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and relevant laws to ensure patient safety, privacy, and security.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, as allowed by law and supported by training.
- Maintain focus and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong ability to concentrate on tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and professional team environment.

- Schedule: Part-time, with a rolling term.
