About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will assist in maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while supporting patient health through the management of care programs. This role involves direct patient interaction and collaboration with the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with prescription services.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Ensure pharmacy safety, regulatory compliance, and workflow efficiency.
- Complete required training and strive to provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, scanning items, and remaining upright for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
