About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap. This program provides an overview of store, district, and regional operations while preparing you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care during interactions.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure patient safety, privacy, and security.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations or point-of-care testing, where allowable by law and supported by training.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures across workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Ability to concentrate on specific tasks over extended periods.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.

- Location: Coppell, Texas.
- Schedule: Part-time with a rolling term.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This position is paid, with a typical pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
