Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role is designed for students to gain professional experience within a retail pharmacy setting, focusing on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and effective workflow management.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients while modeling company values and demonstrating genuine empathy.

• Maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, and inventory management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations and eligibility requirements are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and maintaining regular attendance, including nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
