About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will support patient care programs, manage pharmacy workflows, and assist with inventory and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on delivering quality care to patients while you gain professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Align team members around the company purpose.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or progress toward, a valid intern or technician license.
- Up to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity.
