About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. This role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment, managing patient care programs, and providing exceptional service to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
What you'll do#
- Provide compassionate care to patients and customers while modeling a supportive team culture.
- Manage patient care programs to help improve health outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment by adhering to regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Assist with pharmacy operations, including inventory management and workflow coordination.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, and utilizing fine motor skills for pharmacy tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Compensation: $21.25 to $25.00 per hour.
